Without any set in stone sound, east coast based band Shangrila explore the sonic landscape of whatever path they end up following. Initially began as a solo project by frontman Grant Moretti, it eventually grew to full fruition with the addition of craigslist hire drummer prodigy Ethan Leight and enthusiastically brilliant bassist Kilian Musante. They don't really belong to certain genre, but they've self proclaimed their music style as "aggressively dreamy." To date they have released a single, a live EP, and most importantly their debut studio album “Schizophonic” which dropped on September 24th, 2021. With no shortage of material, Shangrila are a tour de force. Their live performances are absolutely one of a kind, with new unheard songs and sounds being debuted at practically each show.
