King Zaae, born and raised in Seattle Washington, is an alternative-pop artist pushing the boundaries of his sound. Isaiah King Woo, otherwise known as King Zaae, started his music journey as a young kid where he became infatuated with Pop music like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Micheal Jackson. Throughout his childhood, he was exposed to many different genres that would play into sound such as Jazmin Sullivan, and other R&B artists and Hip-Hop artists like J Cole. When he ventured into creating his music at the age of 10 he was more influenced by the upcoming artists at the time such as Xxtentacion, and Juice Wrld. He would soon gain a small attention garnering 10k plays on his SoundCloud song he dropped, imitating the rap style sampling Shiloh dynasty. Come late 2021 King Zaae would start developing his sound with tracks like “HateitwhenImopen” and I’m Tired. In late 2022 Zaae released “Somewhere Someplace” which was able to garner the attention of local radio stations. Also boosting the single, after playing in the 2022 Sound-off showcase where “Somewhere someplace” would be played on KEXP radio. Come late 2023 Zaae would later collaborate with Oliver Crosby and other local artists to improve his production skills. As he developed a stronger sound he would release a series of self-produced singles such as “For You”, “2006”, and “I look so stupid”. Zaae’s music displays an arrangement of influences and genres Including R&B, Hip-Hop, Hyperpop, and Pop music.
